The 60-inch Skid Steer Flail Mower is not driven by a PTO, but instead by the hydraulic remotes equipped on skid steers such as Case, Bobcat, Cat, Yanmar, and more. The Flail Mower is equipped with a heavy-duty gearbox that has a 1:3 ratio that turns the knife shaft. This allows the forged flail hammers to cut down the thick undergrow and brush with ease and allowing it to decompose quicker. Skid steer flail mowers can be connected quickly and easily with the universal skid steer quick tach system so you can start maintaining your fields, orchards, vineyards, or farmland faster. The heavy roller in the back assists in smooth performance even in rough terrain. Besides cutting the tall grass and tough brush, flail mowers cut the material vertically allowing the cut grass and brush to fall to the ground rather than to the sides giving you a finer finish. An adjustable roller allows you to dial in the perfect cutting height for your application.
