The heavy duty 24″ weld on hydraulic backhoe thumb from Titan Attachments is perfect for anyone that needs to add a high quality thumb to their excavator. Hydraulic-powered retraction gives full control over load size and adds crushing strength to grip. Simply weld it to the boom and it’s ready for work. Save yourself time over the regular thumb, which you need to alter by hand. Made from extra heavy duty 5/8″ thick steel plates, this pro-duty implement is ready for just about any job. Connect the hoses from hydraulic cylinder to backhoe ports to begin using.Please measure your bucket before ordering to ensure a proper match. With your bucket at 90 degrees to the boom, measure from inside the boom to the teeth; this is the size thumb you need! A mismatched thumb will result in damage to your backhoe, as larger backhoes have more bucket force. For example: if you mount a 25” thumb on a hoe that requires a 31” one, you will probably bend or break your equipment. Make sure that this thumb is at least the length of your bucket when measured from boom to the teeth or the warranty may voided if damage occurs.
