The heavy duty Hydraulic Backhoe Thumbs from Titan Attachments are perfect for anyone that needs to add a high quality thumb to their excavator. Each thumb is made from 5/16″ thick steel frame and 7/16″ thick tines and features hydraulic-powered retraction makes this pro-duty implement ready for just about any job. Simply weld it to the boom, connect the hoses to your backhoe ports, and you are ready to get to work. Please measure your bucket before ordering to ensure a proper match. With your bucket at 90 degrees to the boom, measure from inside the boom to the teeth; this is the size thumb you need! A mismatched thumb will result in damage to your backhoe, as larger backhoes have more bucket force. For example: If you mount a 25″ thumb on a hoe that requires a 36″ one, you will probably bend or break your equipment. Make sure that this thumb is at least the length of your buckets when measured from boom to the teeth or the warranty may be voided if damage occurs.
